~I'm 17, he was in his early 20s ~He approached me despite being a quiet guy, and usually disliking talking to younger girls (complained about tweenies coming on to him) ~He helped me learn how to skateboard a bit (I met him in a skatepark) ~He was patient when he talked to me, didn't seem to mind that I was shy/stuttery ~Complimented me on a new little haircut, even though he doesn't see me too often ~Asks my brother about me when I'm not there, says that he misses me ~Mentioned to my brother that he doesn't have a girlfriend, but wants one ~From what I've heard, it sounds like he hasn't had a proper girlfriend in a while I know that some people seem to think that shy girls are easy to take advantage of. I was definitely shy there, and I think it showed. I'm trying to figure out why he approached me though. I mean, it could have been because he wanted sex, right? But I've also been told that I'm "different" from most girls who go to the skatepark (I don't go in there just to meet guys and talk to them, I skate. I also dress conservatively). Why do you think he was interested? Sex, becoming friends, or a genuine interest? I didn't actually do anything with him. The only reason this didn't continue was because I haven't been there in a very long time. And I'm not easy, either. I don't have sex with any guy on the street.
