Open Question: I Think I Screwed Up?

I had all these perfect chances to tell him I liked him a lot last night at this ice rink my friends and I go to every Friday night. I blew every single one. I kept chickening out. Before the last Zamboni came out, my friend skated over to him and said "___ wanted me to tell you that she likes you." Then he said,"I kinda figured that she does like me."Then she said he didn't say anything after that. I had no clue that she really would tell him, but she thinks that we would be cute together. Idk I'm not sure what "kinda figured" would mean. I have dropped some hints that I liked him (not in-your-face noticeable hints, but very slight hints. Like smile when he is talking. When he walks past in the hall, i smile and say "hey!" and stuff like that...). I guess he pays attention to them? I'm just not sure what to do now. Help? I just can't "girl up".
